Soft Reset will clear pending errors and bring your mobile to an initial state by restoring its factory settings.
To execute this function on your mobile enter *#7380# on the keypad
This function works on almost all nokia mobile phones.
Hard Reset
If you have restored your mobile to it's factory settings, but the error still exist you might want to opt for Hard reset .
Enter the code: *#7370# and press Yes to confirmthe reset.
Before making any reset, backup the information you have on your phone (e.g: memo, contacts etc).
